Connect With Community
Church on 99 is reaching out to the community in Millwoods through our “Connect with Community” program. This involves teams of people from the Church “adopting” an area in Millwoods where they pray for, serve and connect with the people in that area. We are using this program to build relationships with the people of Millwoods through serving them in whatever way that we can.
We have four teams that have been assigned a townhouse complex and have executed events that are being used to build relationships with the people of that complex. These events happen every 2 weeks throughout the year and provide opportunities to meet people in the community and serve them. These events take place on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month.
We also provide free bus services to RIZN Youth on Friday nights and to our second service on Sunday mornings. We recently added two English Language Learners course that are offered during the 2nd service as well.
Our vision is to be a Church known by the community. Through serving others we will not only share the gospel, but demonstrate it in practical ways.
